A User ID and password have been provided upon registration to access the Online Credit Bureau and Account Status Service. The default password is "CHANGEME" . We recommend that you change your password after your initial login. The password field is case sensitive.

The URL for the A.V. Knowles website is www.avknowles.com. Click on the login link on the homepage to access the Online Credit Bureau or check your Account Status listing.
After clicking on the login link you will be re-directed to a secure area to begin the login process.
Enter your login information that has been provided for you.
You will be taken to the 'Terms and Conditions' page. Please read and accept the Terms and Conditions in order to continue to the Main Menu.
To perform a credit enquiry on an individual and/or company the areas where the asterisks (**) appear must be entered. This information is mandatory in order to get an accurate search. However for a thorough search enter all available information in its entirety.
Enter the customer's first name and surname name in the fields provided, ensuring to check hyphenated surnames in all four ways eg.
Be sure to check different spellings of Surnames in order to get a more accurate report. Eg, (Maharaj, Maraj, and Maharajh) and (Mohammed, Mohamed, Mohomed, Mohommed, and Mohamad etc)
The cost for searching in these various ways will only incur one charge once the search is done consecutively.
Once all the required information is entered click on the box marked "search database"
The page is now directed to the Search Result. Click on the code situated next to the name, which best satisfies your search in order to get the particulars in full.
The page is forwarded to the Detail Report for a debtor The information given on this page is as follows:-
To view Current debts, Historical debts etc. click on the hyperlink situated next to the debt. To return to the detail report search page, click on the back arrow on the tool bar.
If the debtor does not exist on the CCMS online system the phrase "No Result Found" will appear with an option for continuing the search by using First name and last name only. This will generate a list of person with the same name but with limited (if any) ID information. It is left up to the discretion of the user to decide if there is a suitable match.
To perform another credit enquiry click on the Return to Main menu tab.
If users so desire, they are allowed to print the results, however this is for their records and should not be given to customers/applicants.
The procedure for a company search is similar to that of an individual search and the result is likewise.
